This wine reflects our desire for our origins, which does not stop at the sole idea of a Pinot Grigio as a response to market demands. It is a desire to go “beyond” which leads to the name “Amplius”. For more than one hundred years in the region of Friuli this wine has been free to express its distinctive characteristics, from the scent and the structure to the already discernible colour of the grapes from the harvest. The hills where our vineyards are located are an ideal habitat. It has a lovely pink colour with copper reflections. It possesses a bouquet of ripe apple, marzipan, pastry cream and bitter orange. On the palate it is abundant and full-bodied yet fresh and dry while displaying resonances of apple, bread crust and mandarin.

It is excellent with fish soups, first courses with shell-fish or main courses composed of fish.
Serving Temperature: 11 – 13 °C.
